NOTE: If you already have an HRPA login (for example, because you have been a member in the past), do not complete this process and instead follow the process under “Already have an account with HRPA.”

Practitioner
Practitioner is our main registration class for new applicants. It applies whether or not you are currently practising HR.
Student
Join as a student if you are
Allied Professional
Join as an allied professional if you are a current member of another self-regulated profession in Ontario.
After you have submitted your application, please ask your regulatory body to submit a Certificate of Standing directly to registration@hrpa.ca. The HRPA will process your application after this document is received.
Internationally Educated Professional (IEP)
New resident of Canada (meaning you have been a resident of Canada for less then 2 years and are thus eligible for the "IEP" rate.
If you're unsure whether you meet the application requirements, our application process and “good character” pages provide helpful information.
Once your payment is processed and your application is approved, payments are not refundable.
Upon approval, we will add your name to the HRPA’s online Public Register and update your registrant status from “Pending” to “Active.”
You will then receive a welcome email and begin to enjoy all the benefits of HRPA registration.
