#301 Policies Development with a Human Rights and Equity Lens (Masterclass)
#301 Policies Development with a Human Rights and Equity Lens
Ontario’s Human Rights Code (the Code) was enacted in 1962 to prohibit discrimination and harassment in five social areas and based on 17 prohibited grounds. Employers in Ontario must comply with the Code, and within this requirement is the expectation that employers will adopt equitable practices to prevent, eradicate and respond to discrimination and harassment in the workplace.
As complex legal issues continue to emerge across Canada, this comprehensive and interactive learning seminar will provide a high-level human rights framework for policy development and review.
