#203 Ethical Leadership – A Survival Imperative?

A commitment to high standards of competence and moral integrity is at the core of the social contract professionals make with society. Nonetheless, ethics has never been an easy or comfortable topic for registered professionals.

HR professionals often feel caught between employer expectations and the “morally right things to do”. This session will discuss the challenges ethics pose for registered human resources professionals and provide guidance on ethical standards and accountabilities.

The session will be in the form of a conversation between Mark Reno, retired Assistant Professor and Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute of Leadership at Ivey Business School and HRPA’s Registrar and VP Regulation, Claude Balthazard.

Speaker(s): Mark Reno, former Assistant Professor and Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute of Leadership, Ivey Business School; Claude Balthazard, Vice-President, Regulation and Registrar, HRPA
