Northeastern 11.25.20 VIRTUAL Using a Coach approach to Management

Speakers at the HRPA conference have been talking for several years about how artificial intelligence will change our workplaces. Transactional work will mostly be done by the computer going forward, that leaves us to connect more with our staff, co-workers and customers. Things will change even faster than they have been, the moment you get comfortable in your role, it changes again. Where do we even start? We start with taking a “coach approach” to management. Moving from the traditional top down approach to a whole team approach. It requires that we approach our staff in a different way. Using emotional intelligence and appreciative intelligence instead of just intellectual intelligence. In this presentation we will focus on some practical steps to help you move towards a “Coach Approach” to leadership.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
  • Learn the behaviour associated with a "Coach approach" to managment
  • Learn to create a connection within and between teams in your workplace.
  • Create a working environment that adapts easily to change.
  • Use Emotional Intelligence to lead a high functioning team
