HRPA Peel Chapter’s Career Development and Networking Group (CDNG) provides a great networking and career development opportunity for members who wish to learn new skills to support their careers and strengthen job search strategies. This forum provides a supportive environment for those HR professionals in transition or seeking a change from their current role. CDNG meetings are open and free for all HRPA members and includes a key note speaker on a relevant topic related to search and career advancement.
Most people spend more time planning their annual vacation than planning out goals that they would truly love. We have a choice to create results by design or by default. This workshop will study the language of success, simple thinking-strategies, and how to stay motivated to override the one thing that causes people to lose steam. This workshop is applicable to HR as it will support clarity on defining goals, tools to coach support others in succession and career path planning and or career transition
Learning Objectives:
- Mindset awareness Goal setting/visioning
- Career path/ succession planning Tools can be applied to own career path and used to support employees within an organization to gain clarity on goals and career path planning
During registration, please consider the donation option. Donated funds collected through this event registration will be equally divided between Indspire and Black Youth Helpline, preferred charities identified by HRPA members in a recent survey.
CANCELLATION POLICY: ALL cancellations MUST be received in writing, 3 business days in advance of the event, to chaptercancellations@hrpa.ca. Registration fees are 100% non-refundable after that time. If it is a complimentary event, a $30 no-show fee invoice will be issued to those registrants who do not attend and have not provided the required notice. Cancellation Deadline is Tues.
