Far too often, organizations design and implement compensation and incentive plans without understanding what it is they need or the behaviours they might be unintentionally incenting. This presentation will provide participants with an overview of effective compensation and performance management planning, current and innovative trends in incentive design, and ways to positively motivate and drive expected behaviours and results within their organizations.

Brad Kelly is an engaging speaker who frequently presents at various professional events throughout North America, regularly publishes articles, and is often sought after as a media resource. He is a Partner at Global Governance Advisors with extensive experience governance, compensation, and performance management. Brad is a problem solver that works collaboratively with Board members and senior managers to devise innovative performance, compensation and governance solutions that help drive organizational productivity and success. Brad specializes in performance goal setting, strategic review, valuation and the innovative design of compensation and corporate governance programs that help focus and support organizational strategic objectives and stakeholder interests and mitigate risks. As well, Brad is certified in the assessment of leadership behaviours and skills, as well as the assessment of organizational governance effectiveness.
Brad is a principal course developer and lecturer for the Canadian Accredited Executive Compensation Program delivered in cooperation with the Human Resources Professionals Association; Human Resources Institute of Alberta; and the BC Human Resources Management Association as well as the principal course developer and lecturer for the U.S. National Accredited Fiduciary Program delivered in cooperation with the National Conference for Public Employee Retirement Systems. Brad is the current Sesqui Inc. Board Chair, Altruvest Charitable Services Board Vice-Chair, a faculty member in the Not-for-Profit Governance Institute, and a former faculty member at the Directors College.
