A fun interactive night for those in the Mentorship program to hear from 3 panelists on their success in Mentorship. We are pleased to have Crystal West, Morgan Benner, and Nanick Ousha share their insights. Members who may not yet be a part of the Mentorship program, but are interested in hearing more about it from our panelists, are certianly welcome to attend as well. Join us!

Speaker bio(s)
Morgan Benner, CHRP, Human Resources Advisor

Morgan is currently a Human Resources Advisor at Canada Life. Prior to this role, Morgan worked in Talent Acquisition supporting Freedom 55 Financial and the recruitment of financial security advisors. Morgan obtained an Undergraduate degree in Psychology at Ryerson University and a Human Resources Management Graduate Certificate from Fanshawe College. She has obtained her CHRP designation and is currently working towards her CHRL designation. Morgan joined the mentor program as a mentee in 2017 while attending Fanshawe and has continued to be a part of the program as both a mentee and mentor. In her spare time, Morgan enjoy painting (although, she jokes that she is not talented), reading, running. and enjoys visiting Stratford and supporting local businesses.


Ousha Nanick, Student

Ousha is working at two Companies within in the Manufacturing Industry. She holds a Generalist position within Human Resources at both companies, Synergy Windows and Doors and MDL Door Systems. Ousha has had many mentors at different levels in her journey, in total about 9 years. This includes mentorships throughout academics, during an abroad internship, volunteer experiences and professional employment. Ousha is an alumna of University of Windsor and graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Arts and Professional Studies. She have completed two post -graduate certificates: one through the University of Windsor, Worker Employment Issues and the other through Fanshawe College, Human Resources Management. Ousha has a deep admiration for classical art, as a result she has a bucket list which consists of museums. A hobby of hers is also reading.


Crystal West, CHRP, Assistant Human Resources Manager

Crystal has worked at Cohen Highley LLP since 2006 and has been in the HR department since 2011. Crystal is currently the Assistant HR Manager and her job duties entail a wide variety of HR function including training and development, recruitment, performance management and compensation and benefits. Crystal received her B.A. in Psychology and later attended Fanshawe College where she completed her certificate in Human Resources Management. Crystal volunteered for 3 years on the Mentoring and Workshops Committee for the London Chapter and is now the Chair of the Communications Committee. Crystal has participated in the mentoring program as both a mentor and mentee since 2016. In her spare time, Crystal likes to read and spend time with her two dogs Reggie and Lennon.
