During this session Craig Tilford will take a deep dive into the Triple R’s of mental health within organizations.
- Returning To Work – An overview of what it is like for the individual, guidance on what to do or perhaps not to do, how to educate managers and co-workers as well as what accommodation could look like to ensure a smooth transition back to work
- Risk – an overview of either dealing with it, or not dealing with it – what are the risks?
- Reward – an overview of how a psychologically healthy environment improves the culture within the organization increasing engagement, profits, productivity and lowering absenteeism and presenteeism.

Craig Tilford struggled with mental health challenges most of his life. From Depression and Anxiety to Panic Attacks. All the while taking on more senior roles right up to managing a global team within a $30 billion corporation. He sat on Boards in Canada and U.S. for the world’s largest insurers and consulted to over 30% of Canada’s top 50 corporations. His plate was full. Too full… it overloaded. At age 56 he crashed and started idolizing suicide. But he realized that he wasn’t done yet. He’d been to see doctors and therapists. He’d been on medication for years, but this time he’d had enough. Craig decided to get better and help others too. Now Craig helps Canadians and their organizations create a mentally healthy workplace so that we can all progress as a country. His mission is to help workers move their personal Mental Health Wellness measurement from where they are to "better" than before. This leads to success with their colleagues, customers and company. Ideas, productivity and profitability all follow.
Registration closes: April 13, 2020 at noon.
