Evidence based decision making is a pillar of the business world and too long has HR been exempt from making the same qualitative business cases as other functions. This is shifting in both the regulatory and corporate markets. We need to speak the language of data and create objective and fair workplaces that drive real tangible value. In this session with speaker Travis Windling we will explore how to create a sustainable plan to derive tangible insights from your workforce.

Agenda:

4:30 PM - Welcome and Introductions

4:35 PM - Speaker Presentation | Q&A

6:30 PM - Event Concludes

Registration Closes: April 6, 2022 at 8:00 AM.

Registration Difficulties or Questions: Please reach out to our Chapter Experience Coordinator Bobbi-Lyn Smith at BLSmith@hrpa.ca

Learning Objectives:

1. Outline the need for empirical data to support negotiation and influencing tactics.
2. Provide a decision framework to approach problem solving using a standard approach around people data.
3. Discuss how to approach hypothesis generation (what are you trying to say) and what you can and can’t do with data, machine learning & analytics

Learning & Giving Back!  As suggested by HRPA members and as part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility, HRPA has identified Indspire and Black Youth Helpline as recommended charities. Should you wish to support please select the $5 donation option upon checkout. Thank you!
