HR practitioners, at any level, can influence the decisions that affect a company’s most important asset – the people. In order to be an integral part of that decision-making process, HR must be able to demonstrate executive thinking.
Understanding how the business operates, seeing things from the leadership team’s perspective, and anticipating their needs, are all critical to HR being that sought-after expert.
This session addresses practical ways to build credibility as a trusted advisor to a management team by recognizing and quantifying how business decisions affect productivity, profits, and the employer reputation.
Learning Outcomes:
- Identify key aspects of the executive thinking mindset to align HR initiatives with the business strategy
- Demonstrate HR's role in anticipating and articulating the people effects and hidden costs of business decisions
- Learn effective ways to establish trust by enhancing your communication with relevant data and analytics that resonate with decision makers
