This interactive course equips HR professionals to navigate and lead change in rapidly evolving organizational contexts, especially as artificial intelligence reshapes work. Participants will develop an understanding of the dimensions of change, at the individual, organizational, and system level, exploring both theory and applied practice. The course will also explore how AI is accelerating the pace of change within organizations and unpack targeted strategies for AI driven change initiatives. Upon completion of this course participants will possess effective change management frameworks and tools to serve as strategic change agents in their organizations.

• Explain the theories, models, and principles of change management and their application in organizational contexts.
• Analyze how individuals, teams, and organizations experience and respond to change, and apply strategies to manage resistance and foster engagement.

Melissa Judd
Melissa Judd brings over 20 years experience driving organizational growth, transformation, and innovation across diverse sectors. She has led change initiatives in higher education, international development and the cultural sectors, creating internal alignment to deliver lasting impact. As Vice President, Research Operations & Academic Partnerships, at the Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Melissa has spearheaded professional development initiatives to accelerate talent recruitment and hiring in AI.
During her seven years at Vector, Melissa has explored how AI is redefining the workforce and how organizations are leveraging AI for business transformation. Prior to joining Vector, Melissa worked at the Schulich School of Business, York University for over a decade, as Assistant Dean Students, where she was instrumental in building out specialized master’s programs to meet the needs of changing business landscape.
Melissa holds an MBA from Schulich and bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Ottawa.
