The future of work belongs to organizations that treat learning as economic infrastructure, not a collection of disconnected programs. When learning is designed as a system, it shapes how decisions are made, how leaders perform, and how teams execute.

In this session, Gwen Mdinaradze, Founder of EdBridge, and practitioner-scholar from the university of Pennsylvania, explores why traditional training models often fail to influence real performance, and how learning ecosystems generate measurable business value by strengthening capability at scale.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the difference between traditional training programs and learning ecosystems
  • Describe how learning functions create economic value inside organizations
  • Identify common capability gaps that limit performance, execution, and decision-making
  • Connect learning investments to measurable business outcomes
  • Apply ecosystem thinking to redesign learning as an integrated system rather than isolated initiatives
  • Outline practical first steps to shift their organization toward a performance-linked learning model

Who should attend this program?

This session is designed for professionals who are responsible for building capability, strengthening performance, and preparing their organizations for long-term growth, including:

  • Learning and Development professionals
  • Chief Learning Officers and Heads of Talent
  • HR and People leaders
  • Organizational Development specialists
  • Talent strategy and workforce planning leaders
  • Business unit leaders responsible for team performance
  • Consultants and advisors working in leadership, capability, and transformation

It is especially valuable for those who feel their learning function is busy but not fully influencing strategic decisions or measurable business outcomes - and want to change that.

Speaker(s)

Gwen Mdinaradze, CEO EdBridge

Gwen Mdinaradze is a Harvard-trained entrepreneur and learning strategist redefining how organizations turn capability into economic value. A practitioner-scholar at the University of Pennsylvania, she works at the intersection of behavioral science and executive practice, currently pursuing a doctorate in organizational leadership and learning.

As the Founder and Chief Learning Architect, she, through EdBridge’s multi-year capability subscription model, partners with organizations to integrate diagnosis, design, and execution into a single, aligned system. The approach replaces fragmented training initiatives with an enterprise-wide learning ecosystem that connects learning directly to strategy and measurable performance.

Gwen has delivered public lectures at Harvard Business School and leads global learning communities that connect research, strategy, and real-world execution. She is a board member at the University of Pennsylvania’s doctoral program and a dedicated volunteer at Harvard.

Her work positions learning not as an HR activity, but as an economic infrastructure that shapes how organizations grow, adapt, compete and prepare the workforce for the uncertain future.
