She holds undergraduate degrees in sociology and adult education, a MBA, and a PhD in organizational behaviour from the Richard Ivey School of Business (Western University). Katherine returned to academe after a 16 year career selling and implementing large-scale ERP and CRM solutions, giving her direct experience in a broad range of organizational settings. She has also been a Director on several not-for-profit boards including regional immigrant acculturation agencies and the Elizabeth Fry Society. Her research is centered around labour market access for historically disadvantaged populations, with a particular focus on best practices in disability accommodation.
