Speaker bio(s)
Chris Nicholls Worth

Chris Nicholls Worth joined the HRPAW Board in 2019 and initially served as Secretary/Treasurer before moving into role of Student Liaison Chair the following year. She has greatly enjoyed the volunteer position as a complement to her professional role as a St. Clair College professor in the HRM programs. In promoting HRPA membership and its benefits at both the college and the university, she has been gratified to be able to bring students the kinds of new HRPA initiatives which provide support to students in their development, to new graduates entering the workforce by enhancing their career growth and planning, and to candidates preparing for the CHRP/CHRL designation process. She currently looks forward to doing more during her next term with the HRPAW. Chris began her HR career recruiting technical staff and skilled trades in the manufacturing and automotive sector, before specializing in organizational learning and career development for salaried staff and executive leadership. Eventually, her training and classroom affinities motivated a career transition into education, where she has been teaching Human Resources Management programs at St. Clair College since 2009. Prior to moving to Windsor in 2017, she had been teaching at Fanshawe College in London, ON. Additionally, she volunteers with various employment-related initiatives throughout Windsor and Essex County and have sat as an HR Advisor on the Board of Directors for a local children’s organization. She has held her Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation since 2002, and her Certified Human Resource Leader (CHRL) designation since 2014.
