Speaker bio(s)
Adam Diamond

Adam Diamond is the Vice President of Business Development, Group Benefits, at Cowan Benefits Ltd. Adam has 15 years of experience in employee benefits, including time spent in business development, leadership roles, product design, consulting, and even a little bit of time at one of the nation's largest carriers. Prior to joining Cowan, Adam worked from coast to coast, supporting insurance advisors and clients directly. His passion is helping clients build creative solutions to serve their employees, and their budgets, better. Adam is a graduate of Western University (UWO) and holds the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), GBA and RPA designations from the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans and Dalhousie University.


Karen Williamson

Karen is a Senior Consultant and has spent the last 5 years lending her expertise and leadership to Cowan's TechLife® team. Karen's primary focus is supporting Canada's leading innovation companies - including large, multinational companies and start-up/scaling businesses. However, she is industry agnostic. She advises on domestic group benefit plan management and brings subject matter expertise in managing benefits for global workforces with international travel requirements. Karen loves complexity and thrives on helping clients solve multi-faceted challenges. She is a connector and a partner who helps you build a strategy not just one year but two, three or even 5 years out.


Lindsay Reid

Lindsay is an industry expert in pension and retirement solutions. Lindsay helps clients, plan sponsors, and human resource departments, develop, manage and implement group retirement programs that best fit their needs. Lindsay services a broad spectrum of clientele and advises on DCPP, RRSP, TFSA, DPSP plans and more. While Lindsay enjoys strategy and design, her favorite part of her workday is connecting with our plan members directly as part of our Make Sense program which ensures every plan member has access to great advice.
