Gabriela Bacon is the HR & Talent Senior Manager at Bain & Company Canada, a first-tier strategic management consulting firm with world-wide operations. With over twenty years of experience at Bain, Gabriela is a dedicated HR professional passionate about creating and fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture and developing the firm’s talent. She is energized by helping others and solving problems, and has earned firm-wide recognition for outstanding service provided. In partnership with outside immigration experts such as Evan Green, Gabriela has facilitated hundreds of successful cross-border staffing assignments. Outside work, Gabriela enjoys the tranquility of small-town living in the Niagara region, from sea glass picking on the shores of Lake Erie, to walking the Friendship Trail and shopping at local farmer markets.

Alexandra Cole is a Partner and Corporate Immigration Practice Director with Green and Spiegel LLP in Toronto. Her practice focuses primarily on representing corporations and various organizations to facilitate the entry of personnel into Canada. She specializes in all categories of work authorization, including applications for work permits, work permit exemptions, and Labour Market Impact Assessments. She also assists clients in preparing business visitor applications, visitor and study visas and permits, as well as applications for citizenship and permanent residency including family class sponsorships, provincial nominations and applications under the Express Entry system. Alexandra has experience representing clients with NEXUS program membership cancellation appeals and appeals involving various enforcement decisions taken by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), including the seizure of goods and funds. Alexandra holds significant experience advising on complex personal immigration issues involving admissibility and enforcement matters. Additionally, she advises clients on litigation matters before the Immigration and Refugee Board and the Federal Court of Canada.

Evan Green is one of the two Senior Partners at Green and Spiegel and is Certified as a Specialist in Immigration Law by The Law Society of Ontario. Evan is called to the bar in both Canada and the United States and is able to practice federal immigration law in both countries. Evan has been practicing immigration law for over 26 years and has extensive experience in all areas of Canadian immigration. Evan has been identified for many years as a leading practitioner in immigration law. Evan is considered a subject matter expert in the field, frequently asked to speak as a panelist, moderator and lecturer.
