Equity, diversity and inclusion are basic human rights for all people in all workplaces. At the HRPA, we believe that well run businesses include equitable, diverse and inclusive practices, are essential to a thriving society.
EDI strategies and practices are not new concepts in organizations, however recent events and horrific incidents of racism have further highlighted that racial inequity, systemic racial discrimination, and non-inclusive experiences persist still in our society and in our workplaces. With this heightened awareness has come a renewed and greater commitment for our organizations to revisit our EDI strategies and practices, then redesign and rebuild them for the future.
