Speaker bio(s)
David Amyot

In 2002, David Amyot joined the McTague Law Firm and seven years later he became a partner of the firm. Mr. Amyot practices in the Employment and Labour Law Department which is dedicated exclusively to the representation of employers and management in labour and employment law matters. He has assisted clients in responding to union certification applications, collective bargaining, labour arbitration, wrongful dismissal actions, human rights complaints, Ontario Labour Relation Board matters and construction labour issues. Mr. Amyot frequently acts as a Prosecutor for municipal police services regarding police disciplinary matters under the Police Services Act. As well, he provides employers day-to-day advice with respect to ongoing labour and human resource matters.


Michael Wills

Michael Wills joined the McTague Law Firm in 1995 as a articling student and in 2002 became a partner in the firm. Mr. Wills is an experienced lawyer in the areas of Residential Real Estate and Employment Law (including wrongful termination litigation). Michael Wills and the McTague Law Firm are located in downtown Windsor and provide a full range of legal services throughout Essex County, Ontario.


Nancy Jammu-Taylor

Nancy Jammu-Taylor is a partner with the McTague Law Firm. Prior to commencing law, she completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Windsor, her Masters in Child Psychology at the University of Detroit Mercy and then returned to the University of Windsor where she completed her law degree in 2002. Upon graduation, she articled with the McTague Law Firm and was called to the Bar in July of 2003. Nancy practices solely in the Labour and Employment department, representing employers. She has experience in interest and rights arbitration hearings, negotiations, wrongful dismissal cases, Employment Standards Act hearings, Labour Relations Board matters, human rights proceedings, and is often called upon to provide daily labour and employment advice to management. Nancy has also been retained by employers to conduct internal investigations, particularly with respect to allegations of sexual harassment, as well as training on workplace harassment and violence. Nancy served as a Director on the Windsor Family Credit Union Board from 2008-2014, and the Art Gallery of Windsor Board for one year from 2012-2013. Prior to that, she served as a Board member for the Windsor-Essex Children's Aid Foundation for approximately 6 years.


Garth Kidd

In 2007, Garth Kidd joined the McTague Law Firm and currently practices in the Employment and Labour Law Department. His primary focus is on advising employers in regards to their obligations under provincial and federal labour and employment legislation, including the Employment Standards Act, the Canada Labour Code, and the Human Rights Code. He also assists with the representation of Employers in labour arbitrations, human rights and wrongful dismissal matters. Mr. Kidd has also done a significant amount of research on municipal and privacy law issues.
