Speaker bio(s)
Paul Horton

Paul Horton is an HR Executive with absolutely no relation to Tim Horton. He does have a love of coffee and a passion for finding new and better ways to help people be their best at work and to achieve success in their career and in life outside of work. Paul dabbled in website design and moonlighting as a professional wedding photographer - but at his core he has always been an HR enthusiast, counting 25 years of HR experience across a range of industries, including Deloitte, JDS Uniphase, Brookfield (BGIS) and JP Morgan Chase. Paul attended Carleton University where he graduated with a Bachelor Commerce and met his wife Jodi. Today they are the proud parents of 4 teenage daughters. Once an aspiring professional athlete, Paul is now a beer league hockey player, a hopeless Beatlemaniac, and a die-hard Habs fan in good times and bad. Paul is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at Recollective Inc., an Ottawa-based developer of the leading qualitative market research and online communities platform, and a member of the HRPA Ottawa & District Chapter Board of Directors.
