Our Panel of HR Professionals

Paul Horton

Paul Horton is an HR Executive with absolutely no relation to Tim Horton. He does have a love of coffee and a passion for finding new and better ways to help people be their best at work and to achieve success in their career and in life outside of work.

Paul dabbled in website design and moonlighted as a professional wedding photographer - but at his core, Paul is an HR Guy with 25 years of HR experience
across a range of industries, including Deloitte, JDS Uniphase, Brookfield (BGIS) and JP Morgan Chase.

A local Ottawa product, Paul attended Carleton University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce and met his wife, Jodi. Today they are the proud parents of 4 teenage daughters and a dog named Max.

Once an aspiring professional athlete and now a beer league hockey player, Paul is a hopeless Beatlemaniac and a Habs fan in good times and bad.

Paul is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at Recollective, an Ottawa-based developer of the leading qualitative market research and online communities platform.
