In this 45-60 minute presentation, with interactive polls and Q&A, Pete will educate and inspire HR professionals to build more socially connected employees as the foundational element of a happy, healthy and more productive workforce. Pete will share his his six year journey leading Canada's Human Connection Movement, the history of human connection, and how we ended up being the most disconnected society in history, even before the global pandemic.
Human connection has always been at the heart of successful business,but the global pandemic and the hybrid work format, has made it even more important to have an understanding and strategy around building the more connected workforce that will see your people and your organization thrive.
Learning Objectives:
- Understanding the negative implications of a disconnected workforce and the positive benefits of human connection, gaining support for human connection as the foundation of a successful business and people.
- Recognition of the many ways in which we can build healthier connection habits, at the office, at home or in co-working spaces, so we can empower our employees and leadership to take some personal responsibility for themselves and their colleagues in building healthier connection habits.
- Tips, tools and ideas on how leaders can start building healthier connection habits in the workplace by implementing an ongoing connection plan.
