This presentation regarding vaccines in the workplace deals with the legal obligations of employers under occupational health and safety legislation in regards to COVID-19 vaccinations. The presentation will address questions surrounding “mandatory” vaccinations, and balancing employee rights with business interests.
- Understand the circumstances in which an employer may require employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment
- Review employer obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act as it relates to COVID-19
- Obtain a primer on frequently asked questions from employees and other stakeholders regarding COVID-19 vaccinations;
