CDNG: AI (Artificial Intelligence) and HR
HRPA’s Peel Chapter’s Career Development and Networking Group (CDNG) provides a great networking and career development opportunity for members who wish to learn new skills to support their careers and strengthen job search strategies. This forum provides a supportive environment for those HR professionals in transition or seeking a change from their current role. CDNG meetings are open and free for all HRPA members and includes a key note speaker on a relevant topic related to search and career advancement. Meetings start promptly at 7 pm., with networking and snacks followed by a speaker starting at 7:30 pm plus a question and answer period and opportunity for additional networking with Colleagues. The event is over at 9 pm.
We are working in an era of enormous change, fads and trends including how artificial intelligence (AI) will alter how we work.
In today’s session we will answer the following questions:
- What are the key factors affecting the workplace?
- What is AI?
- How is AI disrupting HR?
- How will the workforce be affected?
- What is on the horizon?
Participants will gain insights on:
- How technology impacts our development and skills for work and life
- How will AI affect the future of your job profile and description
- What is the future of HR when AI assists us in our roles
MENU: This is not a dinner. We will be serving veggies & dip; cheese & crackers; assorted desserts and beverages.
CANCELLATION POLICY: ALL cancellations MUST be received in writing, 3 business days in advance of the event, to
chaptercancellations@hrpa.ca. Registration fees are 100% non-refundable after that time. If it is a complimentary event, a $30 no-show fee invoice will be issued to those registrants who do not attend and have not provided the required notice.
