This presentation will address the three most important topics Human Resources professionals need to learn about workplace investigations:

  • When must workplace investigations be conducted?
  • Who should conduct a workplace investigation?
  • How do I properly complete a workplace investigation?

In this session you will learn about the laws that require workplace investigations and which govern how they are done. You will learn practical tips on how to conduct a workplace investigation, such as how to organize the complaint, how to conduct interviews, and how to draft the investigation report. Lastly, you will learn about the consequences when investigations go wrong, and strategies to avoid this outcome for your organization.
