The impact of trade policy and tariff changes has been felt most strongly in Windsor as many of the headlines of late show:
  "The trade war with the United States is taking its toll on Windsor-area workers as the region's unemployment rate jumped to a national high ..." ;
  "Windsor economy to be hardest hit by U.S. tariffs...";
  "Windsor was determined to be the most impacted, with employment expected to drop by 1.6% in 2026....";

  "Windsor feels the pinch as Trump announces 35% tariff on Canadian goods...";
  "Why Windsor is ground zero in the Canada-U.S. trade war...";
  "Windsor lives and dies by the auto industry, which is putting on the brakes from Trump's tariffs, but the city has been here before..."

Join Susanne Earle CHRP, CHRL - Owner, Game Change Coaching and Consulting - as guest event host moderating an informative Q&A format session with our panel of 3 Windsor area speakers who can share first hand insights into the impacts trade policy and tariff changes are having on workforce needs, the legal aspects of the changes to be considered, as well as advise HR practitioners on managing employee sentiment and experience issues during these turbulent times.

Emile Nabbout - President of Unifor Local 195
Candace Sider  - VP Government and Regulatory Affairs NA for Livingston International (a division of Purolator).
