Many leaders had never experienced leading people remotely and have struggled to adjust to the challenges of leading virtual teams. The good news is that the skills required to effectively manage employees who work remotely are easily learned. The adjustments in the approach to leadership of virtual teams also increase a leader’s effectiveness with face-to-face interactions.
In this interactive virtual learning session, participants will learn practical strategies to effectively lead, manage and engage with teams to achieve greater productivity, balance and ROI.
The session is targeted at HR professionals who provide coaching and support to organizational leaders that want to understand how to leverage the benefits of a forward-thinking leadership approach that maximizes the productivity of teams working together in-person, as well as remotely. The focus is on enhancing the leadership skills that are most effective in a hybrid work model.
Participants in this session will learn:
- The key drivers of high-performance teams and the differences in skills required to lead virtually vs. face-to-face
- How to manage the hybrid model where employees work virtually as well as face-to-face
- Strategies for aligning employees to the team purpose, assigning team roles and managing team climate
