Evan Campbell, Lawyer

Evan Campbell provides proactive advice and representation to employers regarding all aspects of labour relations and employment law. Evan assists employers with a variety of issues including discipline and terminations, employment standards, corporate mergers and acquisitions, human rights, employment contracts and workplace policies, workplace safety and insurance, health and safety, and industrial and construction labour relations. Evan has extensive experience litigating matters involving wrongful dismissals, corporate and commercial disputes, grievance arbitrations, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and the Labour Relations Act. He regularly represents clients before the courts and numerous administrative tribunals including the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal.


Catherine  Phelps, Lawyer

Catherine Phelps is building a broad labour and employment practice. She assists employers with a variety of issues including terminations, human rights, grievances, occupational health and safety, workplace safety and insurance, employment contracts, workplace policies and workplace investigations. Catherine continues to expand on her litigation experience by participating in small claims proceedings, examinations for discovery, arbitrations, mediations and trials.


Carol VandenHoek, Lawyer

Carol VandenHoek is Managing Partner of the Guelph Office of Miller Thomson and practices employment law and litigation. Carol regularly acts for employers on a variety of employment law matters including policy development, employment standards, human rights, accommodation, wrongful dismissal and litigation. Carol also conducts workplace investigations for employers including harassment and bullying investigations. Carol has over 20 years of experience and has her Masters of Law in Labour Relations and Employment law together with her law degree from University of Toronto and is a frequent speaker on employment law topics
