Speaker: Rodola Sibuma
Rodola is a Senior Account Manager, Strategy and Government Relations with Workplace Safety & Prevention Services (WSPS). Bringing a combined 25+ years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety and Construction Project Management to her role, Rodola works with provincial and national trade associations to demonstrate a holistic approach to health and safety.
Her portfolio and areas of expertise is the Service industry with particular focus on Hospitality, Entertainment and Retail sectors. Included in Rodola’ s work are recent job ready initiatives for the Food Service industry through Ontario's settlement organizations and Emergency Risk Management, where she trained with Toronto Police Services and the Province of Ontario. Ongoing work with understanding the aging workforce have led to a comprehensive understanding of what a healthy and safe workplace means and looks like. Her strong network within Hospitality has led to the creation of award-winning videos on Ergonomics and Knife Safety.
Rodola sits on the Board of Directors for a long-term care and retirement residence in the Toronto. She holds an HBESc in Environmental Sciences, a Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and a Construction Project Management Certification. Currently Rodola is working on completion of her Instructor Level Certification in Emergency Management and Strategic Alliance professional designation.
