During this event we will cover an over-view of our year in the Peel Chapter at our Annual Business Meeting (ABM), followed by recognition of our members that were designated in 2023 and our volunteers.

We will follow the ABM with an interactive session which will help you to think about how and why Emotional Intelligence should be an important part of any organizational learning program

  • What is Emotional Intelligence? Including the research behind its importance.
  • Why having "High EQ Leaders" can benefit your organizations.
  • How to build a program that fits into the unique culture of your organization, not a one and done type of training but a continuous topic of conversation.
  • How to create sustainability tools and best practices.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the link between Emotional Intelligence and Leadership in the workplace
  • Explore Evaluate the need for EQ in your own organizational Learning plan
  • Understand the 15 competencies that are a part of the good emotional and social functioning as well as better well being.
