Denis Lévesque

Over the years, Denis Lévesque has established himself as a professional who helps companies and leaders ignite growth, improve profitability and achieve results. Known as an engaging coach, speaker, trainer and author, Denis uses his business acumen and expertise in human performance behaviors to spark success. Denis hosts a Leadership show on Ottawa local radio (Unique FM) : Confidences d’un Leader, where he explores the leadership journey from renowned leaders, from diverse backgrounds including military, higher education, government, health care and high tech. Denis has been featured in the Globe and Mail, on Radio Canada Première, on prominent Leadership Blogging sites and his articles have appeared in the University of Ottawa’s HR newsletter and in a variety of client-based company resources. He is a contributing author of two books, “No Winner ever got there Without a Coach” and “Mastering the Art of Success” and speaks regularly on different topics such as leadership, coaching, coaching culture, change management, and executive career management. Denis acquired his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Ottawa. Eighteen years later, he obtained his graduate certificate in executive coaching at the University of Royal Roads (CEC) and his professional coaching certification from the International Coaching Federation (PCC). President of the Ottawa chapter of the International Coach Federation.


Liane Nickerson, CHRP, CHRL, Director Talent, Learning and Culture

Liane Nickerson joined Export Development Canada (EDC) in 2010 and stepped into her role as the Director, Talent, Learning and Culture at the start of 2013. Liane brings deep Human Resources experience, a multi-disciplinary approach, and a passion for innovation to her role. She and her team are responsible for working across all areas of human resources to align strategy, plans, and priorities to create a focused and integrated approach that will meet the current expectations and future requirements of EDC, Liane has career experience in both the public and private sectors and holds an MBA with a focus in HR from Royal Roads University. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL). Liane’s diverse education and work experience has helped her to become an expert in creating holistic plans that are both practical and relevant for her clients. Liane has also taught the Project Management course in the HR Grad Certificate program at Algonquin College and loves that the opportunity to bring her two passions together- HR and Project Management.


Julia Rabinovitch

Julia has over 15 years of experience in learning, development and talent management within the not-for-profit and private sectors. Since joining Canadian Blood Services in 2009, Julia has contributed to a variety of talent programs, including performance management, employee recognition, wellness, diversity and inclusion, employee engagement and succession management. Through her work, Julia discovered a deep passion for coaching, and was fortunate to have the opportunity to develop and strengthen the organization’s coaching practice. As a solution-focused coach, Julia supports people to set meaningful goals, build their capacity and take focused action towards realizing their potential. Julia’s current role is focused on continuing to expand coaching across the organization as a way to foster a high commitment, high performance culture. Julia holds a Masters Degree in Education and is accredited as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) by the International Coach Federation.


Andrea Stettner

As a senior Human Resources professional, Andrea provides expertise and advice to her leadership clients to address organizational and talent related issues. With her clients, she works to translate organizational imperatives into operational and people objectives. Her insight and experience are regularly leveraged to navigate through perpetual change, as well as to define and achieve success. Andrea incorporates her passion for leadership coaching into her work. She is an ICF certified coach (ACC), and holds a Master of Industrial Relations (MIR), Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology, and certification in the Prosci change management process. Andrea’s experience spans both private and public organizations. Currently, she works as part of the MD Financial Management HR leadership team, and is responsible for providing strategic human resources counsel to senior and executive leadership. In addition, Andrea holds an internal coaching practice at MD.
