The complexities of today’s workplace demands that we be effective and intuitive communicators. This interactive presentation offers strategies to enhance communication using the DiSC model of human behavior to aid understanding of the four core personality styles. Of greatest relevance to the HR field are Meg’s insights about creating a workplace that is built on a foundation of trust and understanding. The core message is that it is up to all of us to take an active and mindful role in creating a positive and respectful workplace environment.

Learnng Objectives

1. Gain insight on the DiSC model of behavior and learn to identify the different personality styles in the workplace.

2. Learn how to shift perspective according to personality type to enhance personal and team performance.

3. Learn how to check in on your psychological location so that when you face conflict or a difficult conversation you can bring a mindset that is open and curious (‘Above the Line’) as opposed to closed and defensive (‘Below the Line’).
