Chatham-Kent: 01.26.18 WSIB Update - New Rate Framework and Chronic Mental Stress

Join us as Stephen Roberts from McTague Law, discusses What Employers need to know about the new Chronic Mental Stress Policy, as well as the new framework draft policies and recent case studies.

Recent amendments through Bill 127 to the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997 (WSIA) will expand the scope of benefit entitlement for chronic mental stress to include chronic mental stress.  Do you understand how this will impact you as the Employer?

The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) has launched a public consultation on seven draft policies made in support of its new Rate Framework, which was approved by the WSIB Board of Directors in November 2016.  Target implementation has been pushed back to January 1, 2020.  What can we expect from this?
