PRESENTER:

Tristan Cammaert, Vice President, Learning and Development, RBC
Tristan Cammaert is Vice President, Learning and Development at RBC with over 20 years of progressive experience delivering business results. In this role, Tristan leads the enterprise Learning and Development group, which designs and delivers innovative learning solutions to over 80,000 employees globally across RBC and delivers award-winning internship programs such as Career Launch and the Graduate Leadership Program.
Over the past 12 years, Tristan has held a myriad of roles within RBC. Most recently, she led a large transformational program in Canadian banking that digitized a number of banking products and was anchored in a differentiated client experience. In that role, Tristan established a reputation for optimization and transformation through identifying opportunities to simplify processes and prioritize a better client and employee experience.
From 2006–2014, Tristan held various positions within RBC, including Director of Strategy and Business Development, Head of Procurement and Senior Consultant. Prior to joining RBC, Ms. Cammaert was a Strategy Consultant with Everest Group and was the first female consultant in the company's Canadian office. Tristan also lived and worked in various countries, including Japan, for many years and she speaks conversational Japanese.
She has a BA from the University of Calgary (Communications Studies) and an MBA (Strategy/Finance) from Schulich School of Business, York University. Tristan has continued to pursue executive education courses throughout her career and was in a select cohort for the prestigious RBC Women in Leadership program. She is a Board and Advisory Member for the Global Leadership Program at the Schulich School of Business.

Brett Abram, CHRE, Vice President of Human Resources for Sleep Country Canada and Dormez-vous
Brett Abram is Vice President of Human Resources for Sleep Country Canada and Dormez-vous. He has been with Sleep Country for over ten years as the head of Human Resources for the company.
Brett has been in the field of human resources for over 20 years, working in both the public and private sectors, retail, manufacturing and media broadcasting environments.
He has a broad spectrum of experience in: strategic planning, labour and employee relations, health and safety, total rewards, executive compensation, organizational development, performance management, training and recruitment.
Brett is also a Certified Human Resources Executive (CHRE) and has achieved the designation of Adler Trained Coach (ATC).

Transforming Learning at Home Depot Canada
At Home Depot Canada, learning looks completely different than it did in the past.
The learning landscape has undergone transformational change that completely altered the way associates develop and grow in their roles.
In this session, join Home Depot's Director of Learning for a guided tour of the journey to evolve the organization's learning methodology, to innovate on a low budget and to engage associates in co-creating the transformation of how they learn.

Jane Akiki, Director of Learning at Home Depot Canada
Jane Akiki is a Learning Leader with over 18 years of experience. She studied psychology at the University of Toronto and for 21 years, held various positions in banking, including sales & service, operations, change management, marketing and Learning. Jane joined Home Depot Canada in 2008 and is currently the Director of Learning, serving over 28000 associates across the country. Jane is very passionate above innovating the way associates learn and likes to experiment with social, mobile, real time learning and Performance Support Tools.
