This one-hour webinar delivers an introduction to pension plans.  It will empower HR Professionals and attendees will benefit from an overview of the many elements of employer-sponsored pension plans.

Speaker bio(s)
Sandra Johnson

Sandra Johnson is a pension and benefits industry professional, who takes an active and leading role in the promotion of educational opportunities on pension plans and other employee benefits for employers and employees. 

Having worked for over 20 years in the private sector in benefits consulting and Human Resources, Sandra now works at the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board in a key sponsor-supporting role on the WSIB pension plan, an Ontario public-sector pension plan. 

In addition to her professional role, Sandra is also a volunteer with the Canadian Pension & Benefits Institute and became a member of the CPBI Ontario Regional Council in January 2022. 

Sandra has a B.A. in Economics from McGill University in Montreal.  She has her HRPA CHRL designation and also holds a Certificate in Industrial Relations from the University of Toronto, a Certificate in Pension Law from York University Osgoode Hall, and has attained her CEBS RPA certification from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
