Quinte and District: 9.15.2020 *Virtual:* Speed Networking – "Pandemic Survivor HR Style"
Join the Quinte & District HRPA Chapter as we embark on a speed networking adventure. Learn from your peers as you share best practices for dealing with some of troubling situations that HR professionals face during a pandemic. The speed networking will take place from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., through an Online Meeting platform. A friendly yet feisty event using small groups (six people) split into teams. Get to know five of your peers as your very own teammates from across the region as you share best practices, stories and experiences.Networking's not really your thing? Think of this as an opportunity to get to know a few people in a small group, while flexing your trouble shooting muscles (brain). Let your group leader carry the weight and enjoy the ride! We won't spoil the surprise by telling you the questions ahead of time. We will however, tell you that our team of savvy facilitators, Elizabeth Nicholas and Chantal Fraser will explain the event, and coach you through it live.Learning Outcomes:Experience team building and networking in a virtual environmentLearn and share best practices for dealing with pandemic related challenges faced by HR professionals.Participants will experience how to succinctly share their ideas during lightning rounds of speed networking and the rapid-fire reporting between rounds.Participants will be introduced to people that they'll wish to connect with through HRPA's MentorCity, LinkedIn and other social media platforms and/or in person.
