As Director of People and Culture at Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes, she leads strategic people initiatives that strengthen organizational performance and employee engagement. Her work includes designing and implementing performance management frameworks focused on goal-setting, meaningful feedback, fairness, and accountability. She has also developed modern compensation strategies incorporating market benchmarking, pay-for-performance principles, and clear career progression to support employee engagement and retention.

Jen Knight is the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition at Metrolinx and a recruitment leader with more than 15 years of experience designing and leading talent strategies across complex organizations. Passionate about creating inclusive and accessible employment opportunities, she is currently leading the development of Metrolinx's Indigenous Special Program, focused on advancing reconciliation through meaningful employment pathways and community partnerships. Jen was recognized as Recruiter of the Year in 2024 and 2025 for her contributions to the profession and is committed to helping organizations build stronger, more inclusive workplaces.

Debbie Montanera-Bojda is a seasoned human resources professional with over two decades of progressive experience in strategic HR leadership, employee engagement, and equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives in both the private and public sectors. Currently serving as Director of People Partnerships at York University, Debbie leads a large team of HR professionals, driving service excellence, continuous improvement and strategic HR initiatives. Her career spans multiple leadership roles at York University, where she has consistently championed collaborative HR practices, workforce planning, and organizational development and people first policies. Debbie brings deep expertise in labour relations, talent management, and change leadership, particularly within unionized settings. She has chaired multiple communities of practice, championed changed, developed teams and contributed to several university-wide initiatives.

Tanya Sinclair oversees the People & Culture portfolios for Save the Children Canada and Save the Children US. Her leadership includes oversight of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism (DEIA) strategy with a goal of making work great for all employees. Tanya defines and implements strategic approaches to talent development, HR Business Partnership, Organizational Effectiveness and Culture & Belonging for the broader people portfolio based on best practices in alignment with organizational commitments to children’s rights. Tanya is an active community volunteer and a founding Board Member for Black Human Resources Professionals of Canada. Tanya holds the Certified Human Resources Executive (CHRE) designation along with the Distinguished HR Professional (DHRP) lifetime award of distinction. Tanya’s leadership philosophy is lead, learn, laugh.

Beverly Warnar is an HR Manager at BDO Canada, Co-Lead of BDO's Indigenous Pillar, and a member of Attawapiskat First Nation in the Moose Cree/James Bay Treaty 9 Territory. Her journey from growing up in the James Bay area to becoming a senior HR leader has been shaped by her family's resilience, including the experiences of her great-grandmother, a residential school survivor who attended the 2008 federal apology in the House of Commons. Today, Beverly combines her passion for people, leadership, and reconciliation to create inclusive workplaces where individuals can thrive. Through her work in HR and Indigenous inclusion, she is committed to building understanding, fostering belonging, and creating opportunities for future generations.
