Mentoring is one of the most important relationships you will have as a professional (at all stages). It’s grounded in solid relationships and collaboration. During the session we’ll also explore some of the ingredients which make these conversations and collaboration excel - coaching skills!

Whether you are a mentor or protégé, you’ll benefit from growing in these coaching areas. Each of these skills are important for your work as an HR professional in general, and as you move into year-end you’ll find that they can support you in your year-end activities.

Learning Objectives:
1.    Understand what is mentoring and why it’s important at all stages of your career.
2.    Three core coaching and collaboration skills which will not only enhance your mentoring conversations but also your work as an HR professional.
3.    Applying these 3 skills to your own mentoring and/or current goals.
4.    Five approaches you may want to add to your mentoring, coaching and HR conversations.

Agenda:
5:30 PM   Welcome and Networking
5:45 PM   Dinner

8:00 PM   Event Concludes
