HR professionals are often challenged to assist their employees with a mental health illness or crisis. This has become a more prevalent issue during COVID. This seminar will focus on the most common mental health issues seen in the workplace. It will provide ways to assist your employees and it will discuss some case studies. Speaker Kelly Alarie will also provide resources for employees, and HR professionals.

Kelly Alarie

Kelly Alarie has been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years with a specialty in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) since 1984. She has extensive experience in both the private and public sector organizations. She has worked for several large unions and in highly unionized environments. She was active in her professional associations as a member of the Ontario Occupational Health Nurses Association for over 15 years, and was on the Board of Directors of the Ottawa Occupational Health Nurses for 10 years. She remains a member in good standing with the College of Nurses. Kelly has certification in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (Levels 1 & 2). Presently Kelly works privately as a professional trainer and speaker for workplaces. Her specialty is mental health issues, harassment and bullying issues, along with many other prevalent health & safety interests for the workplace. She has been speaking professionally for the last 15 years.
