One of the things that leaders and senior executives ask themselves regularly is how they can encourage more strategic thinking across their organizations and leaders. It’s not as simply as saying “I want to start thinking more strategically.” Strategic thinking is a mindset, a way of examining different things and linking them in a manner that is both logical and adds value. The key is to keep an open mind, which allows for creative problem-solving, strong decision making and to rise above preconceptions, which can cloud thinking. This workshop traces the simple, but important, steps in thinking and analysis, rising above the day-to-day to look towards the future.

  • Learn the benefits of critical thinking and analysis in being strategic within your area of expertise (HR)
  • Understand the strategic thinking process that supports strong decision making within your role and organization
  • Building strategic thinking skills for yourself and know what to foster in leaders within your organization

A “no show/late cancellation” fee will be charged if cancellation is not provided to chaptercancellations@hrpa.ca at least 3 business days in advance.

Registrations will NOT be accepted at the door.
