The session will focus on conducting thorough and defensible workplace investigations. Participants will understand the framework of workplace investigations through the lens of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Human Rights Code, and employer specific policies. Specifics topics that will be covered include personal harassment, discrimination, discriminatory harassment, and workplace violence. Participants will also learn how to assess credibility, and how to draft clear, workplace investigation reports.
