TOPICS AND SPEAKERS

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Courtney Fuller is an experienced Compensation and Benefits professional with 10+ years of experience holding progressive roles across a variety of industries and large organizations, including KPMG, Deloitte, Canadian Tire, Altus Group and OMERS. She now leads Total Rewards and People Systems for Kognitiv Corporation.

HR GENERALIST

Ashley Sambrook is a Human Resources Manager at Guardian Capital Group, where she leads and supports various HR activities, including employee relations, onboarding, and recruitment. She has over six years of experience in HR roles, including but not limited to recruitment, HR planning, benefits administration, policy development, offboarding, and performance management.

HR ANALYTICS

Yourie Kim is an HR Professional and People Analytics professional, currently the Manager, People Analytics and Insights at OMERS. She earned her PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Waterloo, where she designed and managed multiple research projects and surveys on leadership, gender and racial diversity, and career choice motivation. In her current role with OMERS, she leads the annual employee engagement survey and analysis, and leverages people data to discover trends and share insights with senior leadership.

HR BUSINESS PARTNER

Noemie Patocka is an accomplished Human Resources Business Partner and Talent Development leader with 15+ years' experience and a reputation for client credibility by developing and implementing organization development focused programs that optimize engagement, positively impact company culture and have a direct impact on customer service and profitability. She is currently a Senior Human Resources Manager at Snap Inc., and has a particular interest and passion for leadership coaching and development.

HR IN THE CORPORATE WORLD

Rob Bhatia has 20+ years of Sourcing and Recruiting experience, most recently in Technical Recruiting within Scaleup/Hypergrowth (Post Series C), Bigtech, Digital Banking and Fintech. He has worked for Amazon AWS, VMWare, ApplyBoard, and the Government of Canada (Ontario). He started his career in the Public Sector for 10 years. His expertise revolves around process improvement and finding efficiencies with respect to the Talent Acquisition lifecycle as well as sourcing and building talent pipelines and pools of candidates for Tech roles. He has a global network of technical and non-technical talent, 14k LinkedIn connections and 1.6k Medium followers.

HRIS

Mark Robson is an HR professional with over 10 years' experience in Human Resources, and 8 years' working with HR information systems. He is well versed in managing and implementing HR systems in large complex organizations, most recently with McCarthy Tétrault and Hudson's Bay.

LABOUR RELATIONS

Rebecca Kalison is an experienced Employment and Labour Relations professional with 8 years experience working in the human resources industry. She is specifically skilled in providing employment relations and human resources advice and HR strategy in both the private and public sectors.

RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION

Natali Falero has 5 years of experience in recruitment. She has recruited talent for major construction projects in Canada (ONxpress, Aecon Group, Kiewit), led a successful graduate program, and is passionate about diversity, inclusion, and organizational psychology.

Nupur Khandelwal is an engaging speaker and has been recognized as an impactful leader who motivates others and achieves results. With more than 10 years of experience as a Human Resources professional, she has held progressive roles in both private and public sector organizations. Her expertise includes Leadership, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Human Capital Planning, Organizational Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Mentoring and Employee Engagement.

Frank Tancredi, Capt CD (Ret'd), BA, Pl, CHRP, CHRL comes with over 25 years of blended Human Resources experiences. Principal at HR ADVOCATE HR Consulting, Management & Mediation roles. Chief in various Union/Non-Union HR roles. Instructor, having developed Legal & HR courses as Program Lead . Managed various HR roles as exampled from Quebecor Inc. and Nestlé Canada.
