HRPA North Bay will be holding their Annual Business Meeting followed by a Legal update.

Update on human resources law: overview of key legal developments in labour and employment law, which employers need to know to effectively manage their workforce.

The session will directly benefit HR practitioners in their ability to manage HR issues in compliance with applicable laws and jurisprudence in Ontario.

During registration, please consider the donation option. Donated funds collected through this event registration will be equally divided between Indspire and Black Youth Helpline, preferred charities identified by HRPA members in a recent survey.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  ALL cancellations MUST be received in writing, 3 business days in advance of the event, to chaptercancellations@hrpa.ca.  Registration fees are 100% non-refundable after that time. If it is a complimentary event, a $30 no-show fee invoice will be issued to those registrants who do not attend and have not provided the required notice. Cancellation Deadline is Tues. May 11/21

George Vuicic, Partner

George Vuicic is a labour and employment lawyer in Hicks Morley’s Ottawa office who maintains a fully bilingual practice. He advises and represents both public and private sector employers on a broad range of labour and employment issues, including litigation, regulatory prosecutions, arbitration and labour board proceedings.

George also advises school boards, on both labour relations and education law, including special education issues. He has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, as well as the Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal. George thrives on helping employers to meet the challenges arising out of their workplace, and to achieve their business goals.
