With increasing pay transparency, pay disclosure, and candidates and employees alike conferring with AI, it is more important than ever to develop the skills to conduct a compensation review that can be trusted, and aligned with your organization's strategy.

In this HR Power Lunch webinar, we will review a practical, step by step approach to compensation reviews.  This includes how to work through balancing internal and external equity, finding and validating data sources, aggregating data sources, creating analyses and what to consider when developing compensation models to support decision making.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

his session will provide the HR professional with an overview key components of internal equity: job analysis, job evaluation, pay grades and pay structures.  It will also provide perspectives on compensation strategy,  labour market analysis, and assessing the value of work to  develop externally competitive compensation positioning.

Focusing on deepening HR practitioner skills, the session will go beyond simple analysis to also integrating performance evaluation, and budget considerations into compensation reviews.  By going beyond benchmarking, we will learn to identify HR value-add opportunities in compensation reviews.

Practitioners will also be able to discuss current and anticipated challenges with the emergence of pay transparency and how equitable programs, and sustainable pay equity practices, can also support total rewards communication and be a part of overall total rewards strategy.
