You will enrich your understanding of your own negotiation style, how you are perceived by others and how you can be most effective in the workplace whether dealing with employees, reports, or management. Contemplate what is considered fair in ethics balancing strategy and the importance of your integrity and reputation.

Speaker bio(s)
Shannon Moldaver

Shannon Moldaver is the principal of Shannon Moldaver Dispute Resolution Inc., providing services in mediation, workplace restoration, teaching, training, coaching, facilitation and education design. Along with mediating various types of disputes and designing bespoke processes for many types of conflict, she has taught and coached for several public and private sector organizations. In addition to being a lawyer, Shannon’s unique professional background includes a diverse range of experience. With a Master’s Degree in International Relations, an LL.B. and an LL.M. (Dispute Resolution) from Osgoode Hall Law School, course work in management and design of e-learning, Shannon brings a host of capabilities to the table. Before law school, Shannon worked in various capacities for the City of Toronto, including working directly for the Mayor as well as working in Human Resources. After law school, she worked at a highly respected boutique litigation firm, ultimately running her own practice. Areas of practice included commercial, employment and family litigation. She then worked for the Law Society of Ontario as Complaints Resolution Counsel, investigating and/or mediating disputes between professionals or between clients and professionals. For over 12 years, Shannon worked at the Law Society of Ontario in Continuing Professional Development, designing courses for civil litigators, assisting with the creation of competencies and testing, managing a digital learning platform offering, and teaching on subjects including conflict resolution and ethics. In her spare time, in addition to a love for travel and richly enjoying time with her family, she has engaged in board work providing a host of opportunities to help groups navigate through sensitive and difficult issues. She has also volunteered at schools in both Toronto and New York.
