Sarah Cole, CHRP, Human Resources Generalist

Sarah Cole is a Human Resources professional with six years of experience in internal, permanent and contract based recruitment, onboarding, training, employee engagement and records management/ leaves tracking. Currently she is working as an HR Generalist for i-Sight which is a private company that is globally recognized in the provision of configurable case management software for investigations.


Ashton Hayward

Ashton Hayward recently completed a Human Resources Management graduate certificate and has been working as an HR Coordinator Intern at Kinaxis Inc. ever since. He is passionate about Inclusion and Diversity in the workplace and invested in creating and maintaining a positive workplace culture. He has coordinated various initiatives in the past 8 months, including a project that involved sending snack boxes to employees across the globe. Ashton is looking forward to earning his CHRP in 2021.


Cynthia MacFarlane

Cynthia is a Principal with Mercer Canada and specializes in total rewards, classification strategy, human resources strategy, and performance management. She works with clients in the public and private sectors. She holds a Master's degree in Industrial Relations and a B.A. (Honours) degree, both from Queen's University. Cynthia is a human resources professional with a decade of experience in industry where she worked as Director of Total Compensation at Export Development Canada, and Director of Compensation at Canada Post Corporation. She also has a decade of experience as a human capital consultant in Ottawa and Western Europe. While with Canada Post and EDC, she was an active member of the Compensation Research Centre at the Conference Board of Canada and regularly provides and overview of the strategic role of compensation to the CHRP class at Carleton University.
