Please join us for sandwiches, beverages, networking and an opportunity to explore the topic of neurodiversity in greater depth.

Human Resources plays a pivotal role in fostering an inclusive culture. Neurodiversity is a critical part of diversity that is often ignored. Therefore, it is important for Human Resources to know how to build a neuro-inclusive workplace. This session will cover the basic understanding of what neurodiversity is, the different types of neurodiversity, and practical tips, tricks, and strategies for better recruiting and retaining neuro-diverse talent.

  1. Learn about the different types of neurodiversity beyond ADHD and Autism.
  2. Learn about creating safe spaces for people to feel comfortable disclosing their conditions and experiences of neurodiversity.
  3. Learn how to accommodate individuals beyond medical accommodations to ensure they can perform their work and job duties to the best of their ability.

A “no show/late cancellation” fee will be charged if cancellation is not provided to chaptercancellations@hrpa.ca at least 3 business days in advance.

Registrations will NOT be accepted at the door.
