Craig Woodall joins us to speak about Life Balance - Balancing the Table. This session will delve into the difficult topic of work life balance, challenging the notion that achieving the perfect separation of ‘work’ and ‘life’ is achievable and that in fact a more realistic approach is to maintain a life balance which incorporates work. With the forced emphasis of ‘work from home’ over the last 2 years, employees are increasingly aware of the impact that their work has on their balance and are looking to work for organizations that not only respect the need for balance but are actively promoting a more balanced life style. This talk will address the excuses that we commonly hear and suggest some simple steps that we can all take to build a culture of flexibility and balance that ultimately leads to a more productive environment. At the same time passing responsibility for ‘life balance’ back to its rightful owner…the individual.
Note: The Annual Business Meeting (ABM) portion of today’s event will include a report on Chapter activities, volunteer and newly designated member recognition, and an introduction of our 2022/2023 Chapter Board.
