Vanessa Herman is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL). She holds a BA and MA in Political Science with a focus on international development and a graduate certificate in Human Resources Management. A true “people person”, Vanessa has focused her career on employee engagement, labour relations, and relationship management. Building on her extensive professional experience in the non-profit sector, Vanessa is currently the Human Resources Manager for the Ottawa Humane Society.
Eryl is a Senior Associate Consultant at Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC Canada) in the HR Transformation practice and advises clients on designing and transforming their HR strategy, function and technology for the future. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa. Eryl has had a well-rounded exposure and career in HR from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors ranging in roles that focused on recruitment, global mobility, training and development, compensation, performance management, organizational design and diversity and inclusion.
Jared Dykler is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) holding a Bachelors Degree from the University of Ottawa and a graduate certificate in Human Resources Management from Algonquin College. Human Resources is Jared’s second career where he has primarily focused on Talent Acquisition and Staffing Policy. Jared has worked in a variety of industries and sectors including Government, Crown Corporations, Private Industry as well as the evolving cannabis industry. Jared currently works at Export Development Canada as a Talent Acquisition Advisor. Jared is most passionate about making change within an organization and making an impact on the people that he interacts with.
Laura Braden is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP). She holds a BA in Sociology and a graduate certificate in Human Resources Management. Laura has over six years of experience working in recruitment in the information technology and services industries. She is currently pursuing a certificate in Adult Learning & Development, as she is interested in working in the training and development area of HR.
Hedieh Azad is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP). She holds a BA and a MLIS and a Management Certificate in Human Resources. Hedieh has extensive experience in recruitment, both in the non-profit sector and the municipal government. She is passionate about Diversity and Inclusion and is currently the Program Specialist, Diversity, and Inclusion, and Employment Equity for Defence Construction Canada.
