Christina Augustine, Director People & Culture

Dr. Christina is a proficient Global HR leader with 20+ years of experience in leading Global HR in diverse industries & capacities (Technology & Non Profit sectors). Currently, leads World Vision Canada as Chief People Officer. She holds a PhD in Applied Psychology with expertise in leading legacy & digital HR. She is an industry leader in DEI, Culture Transformation, Strategic leadership & Operational Excellence; as well as a renowned HRPA member in Toronto. A Career Advisor; LinkedIn Coach, HR Practitioner & Keynote Speaker in International HR forums, Government, Non Profit Organizations & Universities contributing Career Coaching, HCM, Industrial & Organizational Psychology. Hands on Management Advisor to Organizations and have published several scientific papers. Chris indulges in delivering sessions through Online Webcasts, TV Shows, Social Forums, Workshops, Print & other media. Her buzzing Radio/TV show “Kelviyum Doctorum” & amp; “Enna Seivadhu?” is a great treat. Evangelism, Youth reach, Community, Social/Mission work, Bible Exposition & amp; Blogging are her other fond areas of interest.


Victoria Homevoh, CHRP, CHRL, HR Manager

Victoria immigrated to Canada in September 2008 from Ghana West Africa where she practiced HR Management for over five years. Upon arrival in Canada, she obtained her CHRP and CHRL designation, and started her HR career by taking on several contract opportunities until she got a full time permanent position and is currently Human Resources Manager at Alero Worldwide. Perseverance, hard work, staying focused, believing in herself and not giving up, kept her going and growing.


Burhan Muhammad Azam Naseem, CHRP, CHRL, HR Generalist

Burhan is a HR professional with a decade plus of experience working within the intricacies of people management. He is currently an HR Generalist at FedEx Freight Canada where he delivers the best human capital experiences and aligns HR with business strategy. Before migrating to Canada, Burhan worked as HR Manager in the United Arab Emirates, across a spectrum of industries like Manufacturing, Construction, Insurance and Logistics. He has also conducted recruitment campaigns in Romania, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and India apart from recruiting internationally from United Kingdom, Europe etc. Coupled with this, he holds a master’s degree in human resource management from the prestigious British school – Middlesex University. Apart from this, Burhan is an active member of HRPA holding both CHRL and CHRP. He was also a member of CIPD (UK) holding the ACIPD. In his time off, Burhan enjoys trying new sports (cricket, anyone?) and binge on Netflix.


Qudsiya Muqri, Sr. Human Resources Business Partner

Qudsiya is an experienced HR professional with over 10 years’ experience in Human Resources as a strategic people and talent partner. She has worked across multiple sectors including Manufacturing, Retail, IT and Projects in India and Canada. Her specialty lies in advising leaders to help them identify business problems and providing different perspective to develop creative solutions. She has supported organizations through change management, OD and talent management initiatives. Qudsiya has strong human resource acumen with a pragmatic approach and practical experience without losing sight of the big picture. Qudsiya is an MBA in HR and is originally from India. She moved to Toronto 3 years ago and re-established her passion for Human Resources. She began her HR journey in Canada as a part time employee in the talent acquisition domain. She is currently working as Sr. HR Business partner for one of the biggest facilities for Amazon in Brampton.
