Can HR in Canada have a darker side? Has your organization ever retained the services of an employment agency to employ temporary workforce? If you are taken aback by the first question then read on, whether you use the services of a temporary employment agency or not!

The world of work is full of people challenges that have to be managed, but some are darker and more hidden. This is your opportunity to become more aware of the darker side of HR in Canada:

  • Learn about the use of indentured / slave labour and how this part of the workforce is filtered into business, possibly like your own, if your employer has ever retained the service of workers through a temporary employment agency.
  • Gain insight into police activity associated with bullying and other forms of harassment on social media, its impact on the workplace and an employer’s potential legal liability

Labour lawyer John Hyde will be leading this interactive session with the assistance of a (or two) undercover Police Officer(s) / detective(s) from Peel Region.

A must attend, eye-opening session!!
